A small commemoration ceremony will take place on the 6th anniversary of the attacks on London this Thursday, 7th July.
The ceremony, organised by Survivors of Terrorism and the Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Foundation for Peace will take place at the Hyde Park memorial where, after a minute’s silence, Thelma Stober, Nicola Stanley, Jacqui Putnam and Sudhesh Dahad will speak about their experiences before the names of all those who died in the bombings are read aloud.
Following the reading of names, flowers will be laid by attendees.
Speaking of the event, Paulo Pimentel from Survivors of Terrorism said: “We need to remember and respect those who lost their lives and those whose lives have changed forever following the horrific events of that day.”
