This programme was developed by the Foundation in response
to the growing levels of conflict and disaffection in young
people.
Aimed at 14-19 year olds who are at risk of exclusion from
social and educational opportunities as a result of personal
and community conflicts. This programme is also delivered
to ages 11-16 years and linked to the national education curriculum
in Citizenship.
Offering alternative, non-traditional education aimed at identifying
and tackling areas of conflict in young people’s lives,
the programme helps young people to develop new effective
control strategies. It aims to improve community relationships
and reduce the level of personal conflict in the participants’
lives.
The programme is accredited by the Open College Network (UK)
and can be delivered flexibly to suit the needs of the organisation
and individual
Units available are Social and Moral Responsibility, Community
Responsibility for Citizenship, Social Responsibility for Citizenship,
Conflict Resolution, Anger Management, Self Awareness and Identity,
Communication Skills and Anti Bullying.
